Ex-Display Furniture Sale: İstanbul Yolu Branch Bargain Items

On this page you will find the ex-display furniture shown at the HekaHome İstanbul Yolu Store and now available for sale, all in one place. From sofa sets to corner sofas, bedrooms to teen rooms, and dining rooms to TV units, the ex-display items across these product groups are a good choice for anyone who wants to take a model home without waiting for a new production run, and usually at a better price.

In the guide below, we explain what ex-display furniture is, what to look for when buying an ex-display sofa set, the price range of the bargain items at our İstanbul Yolu store, and how delivery works. Our aim is for you to know what to check before seeing the item in store, so you can decide based on your own needs.

What Is Ex-Display Furniture?

Ex-display furniture is the actual piece shown in the store for customers to see, touch and try. When a model arrives at the store, it is set up in the showroom layout, and visitors sit on it, open the doors and feel the fabric. Later, when the store layout is refreshed or the model changes, these pieces are put on sale as "ex-display items".

An ex-display item is not second-hand; it has not been used in a home. However, because it has been shown in a store setting, there may be slight signs of handling on the fabric, a small scratch on a wooden surface, or noticeable wear on one of the parts. For this reason, the price of ex-display furniture is generally set below the price of a brand-new unit of the same model. In short, ex-display furniture is a more budget-friendly alternative that you can see and check with your own eyes and take home right away.

There is also a small difference between ex-display and outlet items. Outlet or end-of-series items are usually models that are no longer in production or are left in limited quantities, and they may still be stored packaged in the warehouse. An ex-display item, on the other hand, is a single piece that has been displayed in the store. You can also browse end-of-series and outlet furniture separately outlet and end-of-series furniture you can browse in the category.

Advantages of Buying an Ex-Display Item and Points to Consider

When the right piece is chosen, ex-display furniture offers an advantage in both budget and time. Still, not every bargain suits everyone. To make your decision easier, weigh up both sides together.

Benefits

• Price: Ex-display items are usually sold at a better price than a new production of the same model.
• Try before you buy: You see the product in real life, not in a photo; you can assess its colour, the texture of the fabric and the seating feel in person.
• Fast delivery: Since the product is ready, there is no production wait; delivery planning is shorter, like an in-stock item.
• One-piece need: If you only need an armchair, a nesting coffee table or a TV unit, ex-display items let you complete the missing piece without straining your budget.

Key points to consider

• Ex-display items can't be changed in size, fabric or colour; you buy the piece as it is.
• There is usually only one of each item, so a piece you like may sell quickly.
• Warranty and return terms for an ex-display item may differ from those of a standard product; be sure to confirm these terms in store before buying.

Checklist for Buying an Ex-Display Sofa Set

Ex-display sofa sets and ex-display sofas are the most searched product group on this page. Since a sofa set is the piece of furniture that wears out most in daily use, a few minutes of careful inspection when buying ex-display will save you trouble in the years ahead. Follow these steps in order in the store:

• Check the fabric in daylight. Armrest ends, the front edge of the seat cushions and the back cushions are the areas that get the most contact. Check for colour fading, pilling or stains.
• Try the seating. Sit on each piece separately. The cushion should spring back evenly, and one side should not sink more than the other.
• Check the stitching and zips. Check the seams for any splitting and the cushion covers for zipper problems.
• Try it by shaking the frame and the legs. When you move the piece gently, there should be no creaking or wobbling. Make sure the legs are stable and at an equal height.
• Operate the parts with mechanisms. For items with storage beds, chests or fold-out mechanisms, open and close the mechanism a few times.
• Note down the number of pieces and the dimensions. Find out how many pieces the set includes and the width, depth and height of each piece; compare them with the wall length and door width in your home.
• Get any defects in writing. Note down any small marks you see together with the sales consultant; this lets you easily confirm at delivery that you received the same item.

The same checklist applies to corner sofas and seating groups. For a corner sofa, also check whether the corner module is right-hand or left-hand; the orientation of an ex-display item may not be changeable.

When Choosing an Ex-Display Bedroom Set, Storage Bed Base with Headboard and Dining Room

When buying an ex-display mattress, bed base and headboard or bedroom set, the points to check are a little different. Make sure the wardrobe doors close properly, the hinges make no noise and the drawer runners glide smoothly. On storage bases, open and close the lifting mechanism a few times, and inspect the headboard upholstery for marks. For bedroom and teen bedroom sets, remember that the pieces will be taken apart and reassembled; having the installation done by our team matters for a stable assembly, even with an ex-display item.

For ex-display dining room and kitchen table sets, examine the tabletop surface under angled light; scratches show up more clearly that way. Sit on every chair one by one and make sure the leg joints are solid. Try the extension mechanism on extendable tables. In display cabinets and consoles, don't skip checking the glass and mirror surfaces.

Items such as ex-display wardrobes, ex-display built-in sets or ex-display garden furniture come and go from the list depending on store turnover. If the product group you're looking for isn't shown on this page, check the current status contact you can ask using the numbers on the page.

Ex-Display Furniture Prices

At the İstanbul Yolu branch, prices for special-offer items vary from about 4.669 TL to 149.875 TL depending on the product group. The lower end of the range includes single pieces and coffee tables, while the upper end includes teen bedroom sets and bedroom sets. Some examples:

• Ex-Display Zenit Armchair: approx. 11.231 TL
• Ex-Display Smart Corner Sofa Set: approx. 49.987 TL
• Ex-Display İdaş Helin Bed, Storage Base and Headboard: approx. 52.481 TL
• Ex-Display Kaş Corner Sofa Set: approx. 65.606 TL
• Ex-Display Yelpaze Sofa Set: approx. 119.994 TL
• Ex-Display Londra Bedroom Set: approx. 126.544 TL

The list also includes items such as nesting coffee tables, center tables, TV units, cribs, kitchen table sets and dining room sets. Prices may be updated; the current price is shown on the product page. When an ex-display item is sold, it is removed from the page, so the items in the list change over time.

When you come to the store, bring the measurements of the space where the product will go, the width of your doors and lift, and a few photos of the room. Talking through these details with a sales adviser settles on the spot whether the ex-display item will suit your home, and makes it easier to decide the same day on a one-of-a-kind piece.

When evaluating the price, look not only at the number but also at the condition of the item and your needs. A sofa set with a small surface mark but a sound seat and frame can be a good choice in the long run. On the other hand, a piece whose dimensions don't fit your home will not satisfy you, no matter how good the price is.

How the Ankara Outlet and Factory Sales Store Works

Searches for factory outlet furniture and Ankara outlet furniture usually come from the same need: buying furniture directly from the manufacturer at a better price by cutting out middleman costs. Ex-display and end-of-series items from a company that makes its own products in its own factory answer this need directly, because the same team knows how each piece was made, which part can be replaced and how delivery will be planned.

When you look for outlet or ex-display furniture in Ankara, asking these three questions will make things easier: Was the item shown in a store, or did it sit in a warehouse? What are the warranty and return terms? Are delivery and installation included in the price? Once you have the answers, you can compare the different options more fairly. The answer to the question of where to buy ex-display furniture is also often settled by the answers to these three questions.

Delivery and Assembly

Because ex-display items are ready, delivery can be planned without waiting for production, just like in-stock items. For newly produced items the average delivery time is 15-21 days; for ex-display and in-stock items it is shorter. Delivery and installation are free in Ankara and Kırıkkale. We also ship to all 81 provinces of Türkiye and to major European countries.

Because an ex-display item has to be dismantled from the store and reassembled, plan the delivery day together with your sales consultant. For details on delivery scope and the process furniture delivery and assembly you can check out the page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does ex-display furniture mean?

Ex-display furniture is the very piece that has been shown in the store and that customers have seen and tried. It has not been used at home, but it may show slight signs of handling from the store environment; for this reason it is usually sold at a better price than a new unit of the same model.
